Before calling for Burner Service please make these simple checks:

  1. Is your thermostat set above room tempertature?
  2. Are your electric switches turned on? Is there oil in the tank?
  3. Is there water in the glass tube? (steam system)
  4. Press reset button ONCE. (usually located on the chimney pipe but may be on the burner itself.)

Like everything else, the cost to replace a leaking oil tank has risen over the past few years.  Today, oil tank replacement (including disposal of the old tank) can easily cost $2,000 or more.

When you enroll your above-ground oil tank in Noar's Oil Company's Tank Protection Program, “TANK-GUARD®”, you are provided with peace of mind and the following coverage for one year from the date of invoice.

A.     The free tank replacement includes the disposal of the old tank and common safety code upgrades.  This means that the only cost in most cases will be the permit which is required by the city or town.

B.     Most homeowner insurance does not cover oil tanks.  The best way to protect yourself and your oil tank is to sign up for TANK-GUARD® today.  Your cost is only $41.00 a year!

C.    Any tanks that are repaired, underground, or above a capacity of 330 gallons are excluded from coverage

D.    Warranty benefit is limited to the tank replacement and does not extend to any environmental cleanup.  We have no liability for incidental or consequential damages.  The customer assumes responsibility for any and all liability for hazardous waste, contamination, or cleanup as the direct result of negligence of the company.

Don’t leave your tank unprotected for another year!!!
